I had a great time at this lovely and safe venue. It draws a very nice crowd with a good atmosphere. Fantastic drink choice, good cocktails. Will 100% return. All of the staff here are truly exceptional, shout out to the cloak room guy (I believe his name is Scott? His fabulous mink scarf was called Mojo and Jojo anyway 😂) What a marvellous human, and a pleasure to talk to. We had a wonderful time here, well worth the money.

Tengu is doing a lot of things right with their live music programming in Dublin, but their cloakroom policy is a major letdown. After paying €25 for entry, I was told it would be €9 to store my rain jacket and two light layers. The staff insisted on charging per item rather than per hanger. It’s frustrating that a venue making an effort to host long sets doesn’t provide a reasonable way for dancers to store their clothes without feeling exploited. I chose to carry my clothes all night rather than pay, which definitely impacted the experience.
